How Reverie handles an order
The "How we operate" page describes the steps. After you order, the dealer checks the watch on a timegrapher for 24 to 48 hours. Before it ships, it photographs your watch next to its shipping label, so that you can confirm the watch and the address. The terms say that all payments must be made in full before dispatch.
Custom work
The same page lists what Reverie can change on request:
- Gold: 18k white, rose or yellow gold plating, or a case made fully in those metals.
- Stones: moissanite, lab-grown diamonds or natural diamonds.
- Straps: alligator or cowhide leather.
- Genuine parts: builds with genuine parts, where the dealer can find the movement.
Ask for QC photos of the base watch before the custom work and again after it.
Which factory to ask for
Reverie has a page for each major factory, so the factory choice is yours. The May 2026 r/RepTime "Who Makes the Best" guide gives a short list for the brands that Reverie covers:
- AP Royal Oak 15500: ZF with a free-sprung 4302 clone, or VSF for the standard clone version. APS closed in May 2026, so treat APS stock as old stock.
- Patek Nautilus 5711: DDF first, BBF second and 3K Factory third; for the Calatrava 5227, 3KF is first.
- Rolex and Omega: VSF for most models, including the Submariner 126610 and the Seamaster Diver 300M.
Buying well
- Name the factory and the movement you want, and ask the dealer to confirm both in writing.
- Ask for the timegrapher reading from the 24 to 48 hour check, and for QC photos of your exact watch.
