VSF Factory is the answer for any Omega replica purchase in 2026. They pioneered the cloned Co-Axial movement when no other factory could credibly reproduce Omega's signature escapement, and a decade of focused production has kept them at the front of the Seamaster, Speedmaster, and Planet Ocean segments. They also produce a Rolex Daytona that competes directly with Clean Factory on case finishing — a separate buying decision that comes up later in this guide.

History

VSF Factory began producing Omega replicas in 2014, several years before the cloned-movement era took hold across the niche. The market at that time was dominated by NH35-base replicas with painted dial scripts and incorrect case proportions — Seamaster reproductions were uniformly poor because nobody had cloned the Co-Axial escapement that defines modern Omega.

VSF's breakthrough came in 2017 with the first cloned 8500 caliber, an automatic Co-Axial movement with an extended power reserve and the same visible architecture as genuine through a sapphire case-back. The 8500 clone drove an immediate price reset across the Omega replica market: lower-tier producers couldn't compete on a sapphire-backed Seamaster, and VSF effectively owned the segment.

Subsequent expansions added the manual-wind 1861 (Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch), the cloned 8800 (smaller-case Seamaster), and a cloned 4130 chronograph that compete with Clean Factory on the Rolex Daytona. Production has been more consistent than the broader niche average — VSF has not paused output during the regulatory pressure cycles that affected Noob and others.

What VSF is best at

Omega Seamaster Diver 300M. The signature VSF reproduction. The wave-pattern dial — Omega's distinguishing feature on the Seamaster — is reproduced with appropriate depth and ridge spacing. The cloned 8800 movement is visible through the sapphire case-back and reads as a Co-Axial. Helium escape valve construction is functional rather than purely aesthetic, though buyers should not actually saturation-dive with any replica.

Omega Planet Ocean 600M. The cloned 8500 movement powers VSF's Planet Ocean reproductions. Dial pattern is more uniform than the Seamaster's wave but still demands accurate printing depth — VSF executes this consistently. Helium valve is at 10 o'clock as on genuine. Bracelet end-link fit to the case has been a point of inconsistency in past batches; current production from 2024 onward has been tightened.

Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch. The cloned 1861 manual-wind chronograph is one of the most period-correct movement clones in the niche — the genuine 1861 is itself a 1968-era design with mechanical austerity that's actually easier to clone than modern automatic movements. VSF's Speedmaster ships with hesalite or sapphire crystal options. Sub-dial alignment on the chronograph is consistently true.

Rolex Daytona 116500LN. This is where VSF crosses into Clean Factory territory. The cloned 4130 chronograph movement is comparable to Clean Factory's VR4130 on power reserve and column-wheel construction. Some collectors prefer VSF's case finishing on the Daytona; others prefer Clean Factory's dial printing. There is no clear winner — it's a matter of which finishing you favor.

Movements explained

VSF's movement engineering is the factory's primary moat. They run four cloned calibers with distinct application:

Cloned 8500

  • Clones: Omega Caliber 8500
  • Used in: Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M
  • Power reserve: 60 hours
  • Frequency: 25,200 vph (3.5 Hz)
  • Jewels: 39

The 8500 is the more complex of VSF's two Co-Axial clones. Co-Axial escapement requires more precise tooling than a standard Swiss lever escapement and was historically the technical barrier that kept other factories out of the Omega segment. VSF's 8500 reads as a Co-Axial through the case-back; service intervals are longer than ETA-base alternatives but require a watchmaker familiar with the architecture.

Cloned 8800

  • Clones: Omega Caliber 8800
  • Used in: Seamaster Diver 300M (42mm)
  • Power reserve: 55 hours
  • Frequency: 25,200 vph (3.5 Hz)
  • Jewels: 35

Smaller-case variant of the Co-Axial architecture, used in the 42mm Seamaster Diver. Same Co-Axial principles, different bridge layout. Visual accuracy through the case-back is consistently rated as the closest in the replica niche to genuine.

Cloned 1861

  • Clones: Omega Caliber 1861 (manual-wind)
  • Used in: Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch
  • Power reserve: 48 hours
  • Frequency: 21,600 vph (3 Hz)
  • Jewels: 18

Manual-winding chronograph clone — period-correct for the Moonwatch, which was specified to NASA in 1965 and has retained its 1861 caliber across production generations. Lower beat rate than modern movements gives the seconds hand its characteristic 6-tick-per-second sweep. Pushers actuate cleanly.

Cloned 4130

  • Clones: Rolex Caliber 4130
  • Used in: Daytona 116500LN
  • Power reserve: 72 hours
  • Frequency: 28,800 vph (4 Hz)
  • Jewels: 44

VSF's 4130 clone is the alternative to Clean Factory's VR4130 on the Daytona segment. Both movements run reliably; the differentiation is in case finishing rather than movement quality.

Where VSF falls short

Outside Omega and the Daytona, VSF is not the choice.

VSF does not produce competitive replicas of:

  • Modern Rolex sports models (Submariner 126610LN, GMT-Master II 126710BLNR) — Clean Factory leads
  • AP Royal Oak — ZF Factory leads
  • Patek Nautilus — ZF Factory leads
  • Patek Calatrava — PPF Factory specializes
  • Cartier, Hublot, Richard Mille — multiple factories compete; VSF is not among them

Case material is 316L on most models, not 904L. Omega itself does not use 904L (that's a Rolex thing), so the 316L choice is technically faithful for Seamaster and Speedmaster reproductions. But buyers cross-shopping VSF against Clean Factory's Rolex output should note: VSF's Daytona is 316L, while Clean Factory's Daytona is 904L. For Rolex, 904L is the genuine spec.

Bracelet end-link fit has been inconsistent historically. Pre-2024 VSF Seamaster batches showed visible gap variations between bracelet end-links and case lugs. Current production has tightened, but this is an area to inspect on QC photos.

Slower production cadence on new references. When Omega releases a new Seamaster variant, VSF takes 8–12 months to enter production. Buyers wanting the newest reference may need to wait or accept earlier-reference alternatives.

Where to buy VSF replicas

VSF does not sell direct. Their watches reach buyers through Trusted Dealer networks. Most TDs carrying Clean Factory also carry VSF — Omega replicas are a natural complement to Rolex-focused inventory.

Recommended buying process for a VSF watch:

  1. Pick the specific reference (e.g., 210.30.42.20.04.001 for blue Seamaster)
  2. Choose a TD with recent positive feedback on Omega-specific orders
  3. Confirm in-stock status — VSF production rotates similarly to Clean Factory
  4. Always request QC photos, with attention to the wave-pattern dial alignment
  5. Verify movement caliber on the order (cloned 8500 vs 8800 differs by case size)
  6. Inspect bracelet end-link fit specifically on QC photos

VSF vs the alternatives

For Daytona-specific comparison with Clean Factory, see our Clean Factory vs VSF comparison.

For Omega purchases, there are no real alternatives in the super-clone tier — the cloned Co-Axial movement is genuinely VSF-exclusive in 2026.
