How the Submariner changed hands
In August 2021 a member wrote: "Noob was the best for sub but once vsf released their 116610 models with their vs3135 movement… noob falls behind." The same year, members reported that Noob stock was gone and that dealers saw almost no chance of a return. By 2026, the May 2026 guide ranks VSF first, with the top mark NWBIG, for the Submariner 126610 and the 116610.
The Daytona
In 2021 members wrote that Noob was the only factory with a Daytona with all sub-dials working, because of its 4130 clone from a separate movement factory in Dandong. In 2026 the May 2026 guide ranks VSF first for the Daytona 116XXX with a 4130 clone and for the steel 126500 with a 4131 clone.
What "Noob V2" means
Since late 2024, some sellers have used the Noob name again. In December 2024 a dealer account announced that "The legendary Noob Factory has officially returned"; members answered that the name had changed hands and that anyone could claim it. In 2021 a "Fake Noob" V8 Daytona used a 7750-based movement, not the 4130 clone of the original Noob V3 and V4.
